Dim Shores is proud to present THE MAIDENS OF MIDNIGHT AND OTHER LOST MEDIA, a collection of new and reprint stories by Rhiannon Rasmussen. Cover art by Lucia Retamales. Interior art by both Rhiannon and Lucia. Cover design by Shi Briggs.

13 dark tales of different stripes and flavors that run the speculative genre gamut, concluding with the epic 16,000 word titular novella "The Maidens of Midnight."

The stories in this book are varied in length, from flash fiction to the aforementioned novella. You’ll find plenty of weird horror plus dark SF and even fantasy. Rhiannon and Lucia have worked together to produce a holistic work of words and images -- it's not a graphic novel but there are 15 full-page illustrations.

Advance praise for THE MAIDENS OF MIDNIGHT AND OTHER LOST MEDIA:

"Rhiannon Rasmussen's MAIDENS OF MIDNIGHT pairs gruesomely curated tales with ominous illustrations and epistolary elements that make for an unforgettable lo-fi horror experience."
~ Michael Boulerice, author of FEEDING THE WHEEL and INHALATION

"In MAIDENS OF MIDNIGHT, Rasmussen doesn't excavate horror from the now and the future so much as they cut away, leaving only the unsettling and chilling from contract rentals, crummy college classrooms, disposable digital toys, forgotten YouTube channels, interstellar exploration and the humble exploitation film. All are fertile grounds for the harvest. Applaud, indeed."
~ Matt Maxwell, author of the HAZELAND books
